Reebok LA™: Classics x LA Street Art
As a new LA resident, I found myself exploring to get to know the city better and discovered a vast and vibrant wall art collection. I loved the colorful expression splashed across the landscape since I came to find it was an external expression of the deep creative nature of LA. I started taking photographs combining these works of art with my movement to highlight the artists and through this Instagram series (see here for images) I started becoming connected to the artists themselves.
I took this personal passion and thought, “Combining these grassroots LA artists with Reebok, giving them a platform they may not have had before, is a great way to open up a new Reebok LA location. It will let the residents of LA know we are not just a big corporation coming in, but we see, know, live and love the cities we occupy.”
Classic Sol Vol. 2 featured the following artists by showcasing their work on our Reebok Classic Leather shoes. Each artist received a pair for display as well as a small canvas that would be auctioned off and proceeds would go to Beautify Earth.
